M57-THE RING NEBULAE

This was my second attempt at M57 using my SC3 and MN56. I decided I wanted to try an LRGB image colour image. I used a set of Astronomik L-RGB Type 2C filters. The luminance image represents 80 X 12 secs exposures and each of the RGB images represents 15 X 12 secs exposures. I also used a Baader Sky and Moonglow filter during the L image. The images were stacked in Registax then aligned and rotated using Stellar Magic and finally combined into an LRGB using Photoshop. This image was a big learning curve for me but I am pleased with the result. Image was captured from Bromley, Kent on 3rd June 2006.
